Christmas support helped Tammy during her time of need
Meet Tammy.
Tammy was a stay-at-home mom and had not worked outside the house for some time. Following her divorce, she found herself jobless and needing a steady income.
When Tammy came to CSL, Work Express helped her create a résumé, she used the computer lab, and was given job leads.
Tammy and her daughter also received help with school supplies, the Christmas store, and emergency assistance to help make ends meet.
It was important to Tammy that she found a job that allowed her to be home when her daughter was home. Through perseverance, she found a job with the Independence School District. Today, Tammy is giving back by working as a volunteer for CSL, and assists annually at CSL's Noland Road office Christmas Store.
