Thanks to a generous contract from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), CSL will be able to move a dozen or more families from local shelters and into permanent housing. Most families that we are helping have been chronically homeless, and have very few personal possessions. We expect to house all these families before Christmas, but we need your gently-used household items. Contact Anthony Tyler at tylera@cslcares.org if you can help!

  • Kitchen Tables and Chairs

  • Dressers

  • Microwaves

  • Vacuums

  • Lamps

  • Bedding ( sheets and comforters)

  • Bath Towels and Wash Clothes

  • Trash Cans

  • Brooms

  • Cleaning Supplies

  • Area Rugs

  • TVs

  • Hygiene Supplies

  • Dishes ( plates, cups, bowls, pots, pans )

Organizations, churches, and businesses could put together “Move-In Kits!"

Cleaning Move-In Kit

  • Paper Towels

  • Comet

  • Lysol

  • Broom

  • Dust pan

  • All-purpose cleaner

  • Laundry Soap

  • Dish Soap

  • Trash Can and Bags

Bathroom Move-In Kit

  • Toilet Paper

  • Shampoo/Conditioner

  • Towels (average family of five)

  • Washcloths

  • Shower Curtain and Liner

  • Rugs

  • Soaps

  • Toilet Brush

Bedroom Move-In Kit

  • Sheets and Comforters (queen and twin)

  • Pillows

  • Hangers
